Nishi Market Flower Arrangement Workshop 15:15 – August 1st

In this workshop, you will use British flowers to create your own Japanese-style wreath. During the session, you will learn the names and characteristics of the flowers, along with essential design tips.

By blending the Japanese concept of ma (negative space) with English spray roses (the national flower of England), we harmonise the aesthetic qualities of both cultures to create something truly unique. While all materials are fresh, we have specially selected flowers that will continue to look beautiful as they naturally dry and you will be able to take home the wreath you made.

Children are more than welcome to join the workshop. Children aged 9 and over may participate on their own. Younger children can make a bracelet for free while sitting nearby. When booking your place as an adult(+9), please let us know how many children will be accompanying you.

Instructor Profiles:

• Eiko: Originally from Japan, she holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and has experience working in finance. After her career, she moved to London, where she now works at a flower market. She continues to expand her floral knowledge while sharing her passion through creative flower workshops
• Mihono: Also originally from Japan, she has over five years of experience working at a flower market. Operating as both a professional gardener and florist, she will combine her deep botanical knowledge with her floral expertise.
